Cases of depression increasing in America

Depression is increasing rapidly among the citizens of America. In view of this, the health panel there has recommended for the first time that all adults under 65 years of age should be screened for anxiety and mental health. This recommendation has been made at a time when people in the country are feeling troubled due to stress-increasing diseases, long covid, economic crisis due to inflation and uncertainty.
The US Preventive Services Task Force Advisory Group has said that this investigation will help people reduce mental stress. This problem has been consistently overlooked. The panel had recommended the same test earlier this year for children and adolescents as well.
This panel, created by the Human Health and Services Department, is preparing a report in advance of Kovid, due to Corona-Lockdown Anxiety. Lori Pubert, a professor at Massachusetts Chan Medical School and a part of this task force, said that the major reasons for anxiety are increased crime, the stress of lockdown, the death of family members in Kovid.
The task force found in the study that between August 2020 and February 2021, the incidence of symptoms of anxiety or depression among adults increased from 36.4% to 41.5%. Many psychologists believe that anxiety screening of people will be effective only if they are also suggested a way out. The second challenge will be to mobilize health resources and staff on such a large scale.
U.S. citizens are being consulted on the recommendations of the Anxiety's Victims Panel, 25% of men, and 40% of women, as of October 17. By the way, America is not the only one to see such a change in matters of mental health. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there was a 25% increase in depression and anxiety among people in the first wave of corona. According to the task force, about 25% of men and about 40% of women in America suffer from anxiety. Research shows that women are at twice the risk of anxiety than men.
